Rakim Sanders had a big game for BC (18-6, 6-3 ACC), scoring 20 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Sanders and Tyrese Rice helped the Eagles jump out to a double-digit lead thanks to a 25-5 first-half run.Sounds like Coach Skinner thinks Rakim should start taking the ball into the post and driving to the basket more often. I have to agree since Rakim's outside shooting is still a little spotty at this point in his college career. Nice to see Rakim performing well though.
“Rakim is obviously physically, probably as gifted as any 2-guard in the league,” Skinner said. “And when he decides to make up his mind that he wants the ball and he wants to make a presence, particularly on the interior, I’m not sure if there are many guards in this league that can stop that.”
